Language Instructors
Dr. Oriana Moltisanti is a native of Ragusa, Italy.  She received a Doctoral Degree in Education (specializing in counseling), at the University of Catania. Oriana is the Assistant Executive Director of the Italian American Committee on Education (IACE) and she teaches Italian at the City University of New York City.
Dr. Chiara Curtoni is a native of Turin, Italy, where she graduated magna cum laude at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy. Ms. Curtoni taught at the University of Liberal Arts (DAMS) while completing her PhD in "Technology and Multimedia Communication" issued by COREP (Consortium for Research and Permanent Education) of Turin. Chiara is also a professional musician, with extensive performing experience as a jazz & pop singer in Europe and the USA.
Dr. Sandro Sechi was born in Sassari, Sardinia. After receiving his degree in Russian Literature from Milan University, he worked for six years in communications at SKY Italia. Sandro subsequently moved to New York City and took a position with Rizzoli publications. After working as an assistant to Oriana Fallaci, Mr. Sechi published his first book entitled "Gli Occhi di Oriana" (Oriana's Eyes) in November 2006. He has been teaching Italian to children and adults since 2005.
Patrizia Barroero is a native of Neive, Italy, a small village near Turin. She earned a Masters Degree at The Open University, U.K., in English Literature (Women's Writing and Colonial and Post-Colonial Studies), a D.P.C.U. degree at the University of Luxembourg, and an Undergraduate Diploma in Translation (English, German and French) at the S.S.I.T. of Turin. Currently Ms. Barroero is studying at the Art Students League of New York and teaching Italian to children at Centro Raccontami.
Dr. Luciana Curti is a native of Parma, Italy. After earning a Diploma in Printing and Graphic Arts, she received a Doctoral Degree in Literary Subjects, majoring in History of the Arts at the University of Parma. Luciana has a long experience in Italy in the fields of the Graphic Arts, Marketing and Communications. In New York, she collaborates with Centro Raccontami, where she received training as an Italian teacher for children.
Floriana Betti Bindi earned a degree in Fashion Design at the Accademia di Moda Koefia in Rome and a Master's Degree in Technical Fashion design at the Instituto Secoli in Milan. She worked for many years with high-end firms such as Calvin Klein and Prada. In New York City, she graduated from the Open Center in Herbal Remedies and from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Ms. Bindi received full certification as a Holistic Health Counselor.
Dr. Flaminia Spina Gleizer is a native of Rome, Italy. After finishing her classical studies (Italian literature, Latin, Ancient Greek and philosophy), she received a doctoral degree in Law at the University of Rome, "La Sapienza". She moved to New York in 1992 and began teaching at the Berlitz Language School and Sacred Heart of St. Stevens School. Flaminia now teaches Italian at "Centro Raccontami", PS. 234 in Manhattan and at St. Anastasia School in Queens.
